This is a brief description of the General Medical Services we offer. We hope you will find this website helpful. Please ask at reception if you require any further information.
There are different ways to get help during the pandemic.
- Due to the coronavirus outbreak, how you contact your GP surgery will be different at the moment. This is to limit face-face contact where possible and help stop the spread of coronavirus.
- Face-to-face appointments are available to all patients, but you may be asked to discuss your conditions with the clinicians over the phone or online first to assess what would be most appropriate for you.
- In addition to face-to-face consultations, we are offering telephone consultations, video consultation and Consult online.
- This can be a convenient and flexible way to receive healthcare but if you would prefer to see a GP or healthcare professional in person then this will be arranged on clinicians discretion after they have spoken to you over the phone.
7-Day GP Access Service
The 7-day Access Service allows our patients to see a GP or Nurse outside the normal working hours, from 6.30pm to 10.00pm on weekdays, and 8.00 am to 8.00 pm Saturdays and Sundays. To book these appointments please call our reception staff. Please note that there is no longer an option for patients to book directly via a central telephone number.
Extended GP Opening Hours
We offer extended opening hours appointments in the evenings on Monday and Thursday through Newham GP Coop.
